iii.semiconductor devices are much smaller in size and weight
iv.semiconductor devices have much longer life than life of vaccumtube

Disadvantage of semiconductor device

i.it is very sensative to change in temperature.
ii.it cannot handle much power as vaccum tubes.
iii.it is difficult to produce the semiconductor devices with identical characteristics.
iv.the noise level of semiconductor device is higher than vaccum tubes.
